Still without a timeline! but a much more accurate model. Still a few glitches and perhaps, in time I shall add audio! But for now, well here it is. Oh and check otu iClone if you have time. Its a neat little piece of software for using google sketchup models

My first 3D animation
Took a while, and I think i did a semi-decent job, regarding it was ALL done without a time line. My mid-accuracy google sketchup model of a Kar98k.

Modelling a butt/stock
Ok so here is how I do it!
Ok very simple, using a cruved surface, seperate the face into 3 parts ( the central part being rectangular).

Next step, using the scale tool, scale the 2 outer faces ( not the central one) to match the picture.
Then, just repeat the process by pulling the faces along ( bit by bit) untill the the required shape is met.
NOTE: Make the stock model one half at a time! This ensures total symetry... When joining the two halves, copy and paste one half - flip the other along the "groups blue" on the right click options. Then line both halves up by selecting an edge on one group, and moving it to the corresponding point.

The Mauser 98k

And aint she a beaut!
Spent a long long time on the model, for accuracy. Its got a spiralled barrel, the bolt assembely all moves and I did my first little bit of 3D animation.
This was purely for fun, it's way too detailed for any game, and would most likely crash the computer.
Yet another Kerkythea render
The Desert Eagle

Well this one took a while, a good 5 hours work. It's not totally spot on but, to the untrained eye! that doesn't matter!
Working with several Mod teams at the moment. This is for lostworld source mod
(http://www.moddb.com/mods/the-lost-world-source)
It's gunna be a really interesting project! hopefully it wont die but, thats not in my control unfortunately.
